So the person who's working on my mother's insurance was supposed to call at 10, but got caught up in some drama and didn't call until 12:30. Then she said she had an appointment to talk to someone else, but would call back in an hour. Has she called back? No. Do I have things to do away from the telephone? Yep.

The con was a lot of fun, and again, one of the best organized AND laid-back conventions I've ever been to. Everyone was happy to see me, and I sold a fair amount of stuff without turning around and promptly spending my profits. Plus, the best Iron Man, War Machine, and STAN LEE cosplays I've ever seen: [link]

Apparently the real Stan Lee has met them, and asked the cosplay "Stan Lee" if he'd be willing to sub for the real man at some panels, so he could sneak off and wander conventions.

I am not normally inclined to headaches. My mother's insurance is giving me one. Now I'm waiting for my mother to call the insurance rep, because legally the call has to come from her phone. My mother is likely to putz around for half an hour trying to find stuff she thinks she might need. I would like to move on with my life now.

My dr's appointment has had startlingly little waiting, i didn't have time to get the thing you usually filled out while your waiting completed. Gonna be an hour before my prescription is ready, though, so good thing I have my kindle.
