From far away and only knowing Kara from those I know, I'm greatly saddened.

Msbelle, a number of jobs I've applied for asked for transcripts. I was able to go to my college website, set up an alumni account, and download "unofficial" copies in PDF for free. I sent them to potential employers with a note that I'd be happy to send official versions upon request.

On my way to work, I was listening to the Fresh Air interview with Bobby Womack, which has many great gems, but one thing I learned is that Pam Grier is Rosey Grier's niece! I had no idea.

I somehow wrenched my hip in my sleep and just now got banana all over my black dress. And my dumbass employer's website won't let me see my goddamned leave balance. AWESOME.
