msbelle, Calli is right. These days there is an assumption that you can pull an unofficial transcript from your colleges' website at any time, and replace it with an official transcript when requested.

Try not to actually look at it though, because the damn things are a reminiscence trap. Researchers use this to their advantage in obtaining higher quality retrospective data: "Let's talk about the fall of your sophomore year now. You were taking Organic Chemistry and . . . Where were you living . . What days were your big drinking days . . . How did that impact your early morning Chemistry class . . ."

The last time I looked at my college transcript, there were classes I had literally no memory of. I mean, to the point that if someone asked me if I had ever studied X, I would have said no.
