this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You've had goat in gyros? I thought they were only lamb.

How is goat different from lamb, taste-wise? I'm curious.

Thrive to spite them

I wasn't a super picky eater but I had texture issues with things. Like slices of tomato, tastes gross AND has weird slimy seedy texture.

But with my current bladder issues that are triggered by food I've become a selective eater out of necessity. So many things I'd be willing to try aren't safe to eat any more and food is starting to lose most of it's appeal.

I can eat most herbs, but nothing spicy, acidic, fermented, aged, cultured, has soy, or has caffiene. I'm sure there are other things I'm missing. And by spicy that means black pepper.

Although I have been able to incoporate mayo and some cheese back into my diet. I'm trying to figure out some herb mixtures (besides basil, oregano, and dried parsley) that will make things taste different.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Beefalo is the unholy and delightful marriage of beef and buffalo, and I think I like it better than either.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ho? Yay!

Winner!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

You've had goat in gyros? I thought they were only lamb.

Well, my sister said it was goat... if it wasn't, then I haven't had goat, and lamb tastes better in a gyro than on a plate in an Irish pub.

I haven't been to the same pub, likely, but it really, really does. Gyros are so good. Other lamb is really hit or miss for me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How is goat different from lamb, taste-wise? I'm curious.

Similar flavor, but a lot moreso.

I'd never had goat before, and it was fine, but I don't need to order it again.

I am home! And my apartment still smells like curry from what I cooked Friday night. Oops. I guess that says something good about the air-tight-ness of the place, though?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

We're getting our first winter CSA box tomorrow. It may contain beets. I have no idea what to do with beets. Or if I like them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Roast them. It's the easiest thing to do with them, and delicious.
