You've had goat in gyros? I thought they were only lamb.
Well, my sister said it was goat... if it wasn't, then I haven't had goat, and lamb tastes better in a gyro than on a plate in an Irish pub.

I haven't been to the same pub, likely, but it really, really does. Gyros are so good. Other lamb is really hit or miss for me.
How is goat different from lamb, taste-wise? I'm curious.

We're getting our first winter CSA box tomorrow. It may contain beets. I have no idea what to do with beets. Or if I like them.
Roast them. It's the easiest thing to do with them, and delicious.

Roast them, cut them into little cubes (being careful -- the juice stains, and it can get everywhere), and put them in a salad, with baby greens and walnuts and a citrusy dressing.
