Definitely a respectable time for wine! It's practically sunset.
I think feta might be a better component than blue in this particular salad, too. Possibly why I bought it? I do not actually remember making the decision, it's also possible that I bought blue cheese and it metamorphosed in my refrigerator
I'd buy that if it were the other way around.
Ah, blue cheese. The one thing I don't have to worry about going bad before I eat it!
Application independently, what's your favourite cheese? I find myself quite enamoured of havarti these days.
Havarti is up there, along with Brie and blue. Sharp cheddar is pretty much my default go to cheese, though, so I guess I'll go with that. But it's a tough call.
Delice de bourgogne is my first. Toscano with cracked pepper is my second. 20 year vintage cheddar is next.
My official favorite cheese is Epoisses.
I really like the Toscana in port. Also, the Spanish cheeses I can't remember right now, but will tell you after my TJs run tomorrow. For not eating hunks, more melty stuff, I like Colby jack and Swiss.
There's a mango ginger stilton that could possibly make me weep.
Parrano. It's an aged Gouda. Love it with apples.
