Mal: Okay. She won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she is solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die. Zoe: 'Cause it's a deathtrap.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jilli,

if you cook the crap out of it though, it is likely the salmonella would be gone, yes? Not encouraging you to eat it, but checking against my understanding.

Always Anti-fascist!

Recalls don't help that much.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I've had salmonella poisoning. I don't recommend it.

not your mom's socks.

The lack of a Snitch was also an issue.

Oh there's a snitch. It's a person dressed in gold lame' who can run anywhere on campus and it's kind of like capture the flag... Hey, why are you looking at me funny? Where are you going? Don't leave..

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ugh, I think my Claritin wore off at 2, which sucks because it was supposed to last for 24 hours. Or I am sicker than I thought.

But I am making Carrot Top, Kale, and Chicken Soup with Mexican Flavors for dinner, surely that will cure anything.

Probably not salmonella, but this is some of my aforementioned stewing hens that have been in the freezer for a good couple of years, not Foster Farms. Speaking of, I have found a new (to me) livestock focused CSA to try. $50 for 6 pounds of pastured organic etc. meat every month sounds pretty okay, I think? Offering include goat and duck (and dick eggs!), they're all about sending you what's "in season", and you all know how much I like having other people make my decisions for me, especially when it comes to groceries.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'll pass on the dick eggs, thanks.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

(brenda owes me a keyboard)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I didn't even make it past Carrot Top soup.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'll pass on the Carrot Top soup.

edit: damn. Too slow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"Do you have X in stock?" "We usually have that." "No, do you have it now? Can I come in and buy it?" "Uh, I can look. You wanted a Y?"

I seriously don't understand why people are so reluctant to just...job.

She came back and told me that X doesn't exist. So, you know. Jobbing. It's hard, and it gets in the way of 9 to 5.

Now I have to go back to the camera store that sold me the wrong lens. I am going to go the "I must have expressed myself inaccurately" route because I've had too many fights today.
