We decided if they called again to say that although they would get it, sending the email would be twice as expensive as sending a local email.
Was it here that someone posted that thing about the 500-mile email issue? That was pretty funny.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Oh, FUCK. The 30th was "blew four hours in the ortho office" day. How do I allocate that time? Lost, I guess...
Thank you, b,org, for being more useful than Outlook, though.
I hit submit. I'll make a note on my calendar to proofread what I've written before I leave for the day, but now I think I shall frolic on Tumblr for 15 minutes to reward myself.
Help me, hivemind: easy recipes for cooking a thick boneless pork chop?
My mother just did a thing where she sauteed apples and leeks and cooked the chops in that, butI don't know where the actual recipe came from. It was good, though! (I think the recipe also called for fennel.)
salt, pepper, shredded bay leaf. Brown in olive oil, then add a bit of dry white wine and simmer until done.
that sounds delicious as well, Jesse.
How do I tell when it's done? (This is generally why I don't cook pork.)
Cut it open? That's how I cook every chunk of meat, which is also why I don't usually do that.
And ooh, I just realized I could pick a couple of apples from our tree and use those!
