I have pointed out to my sister that I easily fail her pathological liar test. She's not revisiting her criteria, though.
What is her test?

It's about the number of "exceptional" things about yourself you can slip into one conversation (that's not technically about you). I'm the queen of inconsequentially "exceptional". I think her threshold is around six.
I bumped into a John Hughes marathon on tv. Do I own all the movies? Yes. Am I still watching the chopped up tv versions? Well, duh.
They're so PERKY!

Pornypants rides again!
I've been exhausted all day -- barely able to get out of bed this morning, had to force myself to stay awake during office hours, feeling sick by the time I was done teaching -- but now that I can go to bed, I can't get to sleep. I don't know what's up with this.
Tried out my new manual ceramic burr grinder - grinding only enough for one cup didn't take too too much effort and made for a damn fine cup of coffee. In other breakfast news, smoked salmon and brie is pretty yum.
Dang it, I forgot to get smoked salmon at Trader Joe's yesterday. My breakfast is sad.
Timelies all!
At WorldCon, about to pick up our badges.
That's where I got mine!

TJs has good smoked salmon for the best price I can find. I have a running list in my head of stuff like that (I understand some people actually keep a literal price notebook or spreadsheet or whatever to compare prices between stores). TJs wins on smoked salmon, nuts (by a mile), olive oil, gluten-free oats, gluten-free pasta, and generally cheese.
