Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Humblebrag! Right! That's the term. Still, I'm glad grumblebrag works too, in the right circumstances.

Speaking of errant terminology, egg cream seems a bit of a misnomer. Makes me wonder where the term came from. I think I looked it up once and found the narrative less than compelling. Didn't remember it anyway.

The ER is cold, Burrell, if you need a good chill.

It is, it's true. Oh dear, does that mean you are heading in that direction?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I wish I could wave my magic health wand.

I am a little woeful about the prospects of midwestern pollen vortexing. The nasacort has been really effective. I can tell, because every time I try to quit it, I have miseries. But I'm concerned about the glaucoma risk with prolonged use. What is prolonged usage? Anyway, I'm also now just starting to get the nosebleeds, which I am also prone to. Or maybe it's because I forgot to refill the humidifier? Yeah, let's go with that.

The point is, midwest, I am coming to you. Please be kind to my southwestern acclimated sinuses.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There is when I make it.

You're doing it wrong. It's chocolate syrup and seltzer. It's basically a kind of chocolate soda stirred into a high froth.

There's some particular kind of chocolate syrup that was common in Brooklyn they favored too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They do usually have milk, no?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Fox's U-Bet. And Jesse's right -- it also has milk.

It also works a lot better if you've got an old-fashioned seltzer bottle. It doesn't foam up right if you just pour the seltzer in.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You're doing it wrong.

I will not attempt to serve it to you. But using cream instead of milk is never wrong.

I do have an old fashioned seltzer bottle but I prefer to use the sodastream. Foams up fine either way.

Oh! I thought of you people yesterday when a coworker confessed to getting a chocolate bagel -- she said it went against her childhood rules, but as she put it, "My mother is a New York Jew, but I'm from Oregon!"

I did not tell her, "Eat a muffin, whitey!" but I thought it!

Our wings are not tired.

"Eat a muffin, whitey!"

It is something that pops into mind often when passing through the bakery. This is not a bad thing.

I am still at home and should be at the office. I am paralyzed by my list instead of actually dealing with it.
