Mufaletta pizza?? That sounds...like more controversy than olive or no olive.

There are olives.
This is the description:
Ham, salami, green and black olives, pepperoncini, red onions, roasted red peppers, celery, red wine vinegar, olive oil, tabasco sauce and provolone cheese.
My choices are that or Tangy pulled pork on a bulky Kaiser roll
Or I could get soup/salad or sandwich or normal pizza, but they are totally unappealing to me today.
aside from the fact that I do not eat any of those meats, I think that pizza sounds yum.
Sending lots of hugs and gatorade to you, sarameg. I hope you can hold something down soon.
That's not all that turns black.
Okay now THAT is deeply disturbing.
WRT mufaletta pizza: controversy over the name withstanding, I am picturing pizza made with an olive tapenade for the sauce and salami on top, and how delicious would that be? Yum!
I just remembered someone told me they don't have hard rolls in Texas-- is that true?
Do I want muffaletta pizza for lunch?
I say yes!
My choices are not great.
Especially if this.
Posted before I saw the actual toppings for the mufaletta pizza, but I am still firmly in the delicious camp.
I am ordering the pizza, and a greek salad.
I am disturbed that the website asks me the kind of dressing I want on my greek salad.
Um? Greek?
Of course the lunch cart nearest to me has Greek Salad, but no Greek dressing, which is also weird. (they only have Italian, Raspberry Vinaigrette, Ranch and Thousand Island?)
Incidentally, I have now had my One True Pulled Pork sandwich which was so much better than any other variation I tried that I'm afraid I've spoiled myself.
It's at a cafe/bakery in Oakland named Barkada and they make their own coffee-rubbed pulled pork, and serve it on their own (exceptionally good) bread.
So. Much. Flavor. I think one of the chef owners happened to make my particular order that day. I've been dreaming about it but haven't been back in that neighborhood for about 9 months.
I say yes to the muffaletta pizza! And now I'm giving my turkey wrap the side-eye because it is not a muffaletta pizza.
coffee-rubbed pulled pork
Oh my lord. That sounds fantastic.
