'Harm's Way'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Gee, I wonder if Buffistas can read my mind telepathically and stuff.

I noticed you used italics ....

And the comment of the day (the exception to the "don't read the comments" rule):

It's amazing how much stoopit some folks can fit in just 140 characters.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Oh man. Y'all are on fire today.

Bonnie you really need to start a side business: troublesome customers so that other small businesses can have a heads up

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Letters lovingly crafted to rip them a new one?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Really, I'm amazed that he's divorced while still in his twenties.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

After his behavior I am not sure I am amazed.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

He is probably one of those abhorrent "nice guys" too.

Compassionately intolerant

I should clarify that the appointments were to 'meet' the walker before beginning service.

Not all new clients request this option, but when they do, since it takes roughly the same amount of time as an actual walk, we charge for it.

We make that abundantly clear and let this charmer know in multiple ways but, hey, he's grieved.

I should point out that the appts were scheduled for mid-April and he ignored is monthly invoices until he got the collections notice in August. All that stuff is auto-generated, so I didn't hear about it until he threatened to trash us on yelp and angie's list.

I'm not sure what precipitated the escalation to the AG's office, but I wish he WOULD comment on those two sites because I respond to every comment we get.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My doctor's office has a policy that a missed appointment (i.e., not cancelled 24 hours or more before the appointment time) will still incur a charge. Does your agency have a policy like that, that's clearly stated? Because if it does, I don't see how this fool could think he has any recourse.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

but doctor's offices also call to confirm.

my doctor's office doesn't necessarily charge, but 3 missed appts and they may discharge you as a patient.

They need to point out how TELEPATHIC dialogue is indicated. I love this.

That is awesome.

I emailed the girl when I got back to the hotel last night, and she was like "no, you sensed correctly I wasn't into it, I didn't realize inviting you in for coffee was a signal". Pardon as I think my head against the table. Also now I feel extra-awkward for having tried to kiss her as I left.
