this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm super excited for ltc to make her most welcome entrance, but I have to admit, I'm ALSO excited for you to have your first post-baby milkshake.

Ha! I feel I will be sending the wrong message if I post a picture of the milkshake on facebook, but maybe I can post it here where people understand things better. Also, I just realized since I'm probably going to be on a post c-section morphine drip (since I can't have a spinal or epidural), they're probably not going to let me have champagne, are they? I have a bottle someone gave me at Christmas before they knew I was pregnant that I have been saving.

Thrive to spite them

Is there a way to make a champagne milkshake or is that just wronger than a wrong thing that's wrong.

It doesn't sound too bad to me, but I don't know much about these things.

Maybe more of an ice cream soda kind of thing.

Thrive to spite them

My ear hurt so bad earlier. I took something for the pain and put hot compress on it and took a tiny nap. Finally the pain has kind of gone away. It doesn't help that my shoulder on the right hurts too, but I think that's from overdoing things at work yesterday.

I did manage to wash some dishes and make a rather sad dinner. I cooked some chicken and kale (for something green) and some instant rice. then poured a can of chicken and corn chowder over the chicken and stirred in the rice and let some of the liquid cook off and called it a stove top casserole. Wish I had some cheese.

It's actually not half bad.

Try lemon sorbet (or similar flavor) with ice cold Prosecco poured over it. I'm not sure about the chocolate flavors.

Oh, I've tried it with sherbet, too.

Prosecco and peach sorbet! It's like a Bellini.

Calli, that sounds good or maybe some blood orange sorbet.

No raspberries for me. Ick.
