'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yay, askye! That all sounds wonderful. Well, all except for the NP not sending in your prescription.

Always Anti-fascist!

Sometimes I can't deal with other disabled people. Which I know makes me sound like I'm about to go on Fox News and say that Social Security is "classic government overreach" or something like that, but I don't mean it that way. Just sometimes I don't know if it's funny or sad how far off the mark my encounters always are from the fantasy of "Finally, someone who Gets It,"

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My mom offered to come to Cincinnati with me for a few days to help make sure everything goes OK with the movers and stuff. I said yes, if she feels like she can do it. She's been having some mobility issues lately. But I would feel better having someone else there, and I know that she'll feel better if she can see where I'm living.

Our wings are not tired.

With me part of it is having such a clear and detailed notion of what an encounter will be that makes the reality so disappointing. Blah, alas I get it.

Having your mom come will be good, Hil. Of course she needs to picture you in your new surrounds, and another person around when you are getting settled in can be very handy.

Thrive to spite them

I went to my weekly DBT therapy group and on the way there my ear started hurting. I was going to go but listening to people talk was getting to me and so I left. I forgot to take sudafed before I went and I need to check and see when I can take more ibuprofen. I also took some PRN klonopin because maybe it will help me relax and maybe that wil help my pain level.

At least that's the theory.

Feel better, askye.

We had an OB appointment and ultrasound today. ltc is 5.5 lbs, and she will likely be born on August 10th, unless she decides to come earlier or there are other health concerns.

Be a good baby ltc! There's an awesome nursery waiting for you and geeky clothes to wear, so don't put your mama through too much stress!

So a cousin who is a year older than me is celebrating his 21st wedding anniversary today (which I almost misspelled weeding).

He and his wife have been together for much longer than that. I think they started dating when they were 15.

Thanks, askye! I'll pass along the message.

We're not going to Mom's place at the beach for my birthday weekend this weekend because I don't want to be that far from my hospital, especially with all the holiday traffic. However, TCG still has the day off because of the holiday; so, I think we're going to go to the museum for the day. I called and they do have wheelchairs available; so, even if I'm tired, I should be able to enjoy myself. I need to check if there is anything I can eat at the cafe there.
