Dawn: I feel safe with you. Spike: Take that back!

'First Date'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

(nodding) Doctors are apparently trained that fat causes almost every symptom acknowleged by the medical profession, just like being female causes every pain symptom reported by a woman.

brillig

I'm diabetic, I'm on a statin, my A1C is nowhere near good as yours, and no one has told me I'm anemic. And I see the doc every three months.

Thrive to spite them

Can you change doctors? I know it's not always possible but it sounds like this one is failing you in multiple ways.

And in doctor news I could use a lot ~ma today. I see my meds manager today and therapy. With a side order of dealing we it insurance issues at meds managers place . If I have to deal with the actual insurance company I'm going to see if Dad can do that on my behalf because there is no way I can deal with that stress too.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Lots of ~ma for strength an luck, askye.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm giving in and having a real cuppa this morning because I've had a terrible headache for several days and I can't take advil. My doctor said I could have one cup a day, I just haven't been doing it very often. But I have too much to do today to have a splitting headache. Mom is away this month so we're taking a mini vacation to her place for the weekend, and I have to do all the laundry.

Was it here we were talking about needing to reorganize or was it Natter? I started reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. So far, it's interesting. My intention is to finish reading it this weekend and then start on the actual organizing on Monday. Maybe I could even have a semi-organized house by the time ltc is born.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I am not making this up, and I can provide a screenshot to prove it: I just checked my holds list at the library, and my hold on this book just changed to "IN TRANSIT." I can't wait to read it.

I now want three more cups of tea, which I can't have. Boo.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

sj I think a little coffee or tea is fine during pregnancy as long as your stomach tolerates it.
