Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I just saw the UPS guys parked across the street, so asked him if he had anything for my building, and he did! Now I sort of believe that sometimes no one is home to answer the door. Except that day I was definitely home.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Matt, how awful. So much ~ma for your family.

not your mom's socks.

Matt - so very sorry. My condolences to your cousin and your family.

I have nothing to say on tattoo artists, but Jilli's are very cool, always.

Happy new year, Natter!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My sympathies to your family, Matt.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Which? Yay. I am pretty sure that longer and colder winters would make me unhappy.

Yes, I am often driven to despair by my longer and colder southern hemisphere winters.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, Matt.

So, I've decided to move toward more of a Mediterranean diet, and today I baked my first pitas. They turned out pretty well.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Did they get poofy?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Did they get poofy?

We made pitas at the bakery I worked at in Madison. I was amazed that almost all of them got poofy. (Which they needed to, as we sold many to restaurants for pita sandwiches.)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Thanks for the support, everyone.

Ah co-worker, don't ever change. When I answered her question about how late I'd be staying tonight, she replied "I'll be here longer than that" as if she wanted me to give her a cookie.
