Matt - so very sorry. My condolences to your cousin and your family.
I have nothing to say on tattoo artists, but Jilli's are very cool, always.
Happy new year, Natter!
Timelies all!
My sympathies to your family, Matt.
Which? Yay. I am pretty sure that longer and colder winters would make me unhappy.
Yes, I am often driven to despair by my longer and colder southern hemisphere winters.
I'm sorry, Matt.
So, I've decided to move toward more of a Mediterranean diet, and today I baked my first pitas. They turned out pretty well.
Did they get poofy?
Did they get poofy?
We made pitas at the bakery I worked at in Madison. I was amazed that almost all of them got poofy. (Which they needed to, as we sold many to restaurants for pita sandwiches.)
Thanks for the support, everyone.
Ah co-worker, don't ever change. When I answered her question about how late I'd be staying tonight, she replied "I'll be here longer than that" as if she wanted me to give her a cookie.
Condolences, Matt.
The weirdest thing I've heard in my alley, in comic form: [link] (exact wording was edited to make it family-friendly.)
I stumbled on getting a word out in a meeting with a gruff director I don't talk to much--I could not say "inviolable" to save my life. In fact, I'm still second guessing myself.
However, stumbling and righting yourself with "Oh, never mind--impregnable, then" seems to be a real crowd pleaser.
IT'S VOCABULARY. IT'S NOT FOR LAUGHS.
