Some of those cats were super cute!
I do love cats, but they make me so so sick. But I do suppose the hairless ones wouldn't have that effect.

The lightbulb went on this morning and I called my oncologist to schedule a blood test to check my iron levels.
I had been feeling really run down earlier this year, and wondered if it was my iron, so I went back on a multivitamin with iron, and my energy level came back up. I don't know that it's related, but I'm sticking with the multivitamin as far as I can.
Mom report: she told E this morning that her home was the town I grew up in, and which she moved out of in 1993 or so.
But I do suppose the hairless ones wouldn't have that effect.
It depends. Some people who are allergic to cats do fine with hairless cats and some don't.
Turns out that one of the side effects of Hubby's new heart maintenance drug is increased crabbiness. Which I have definitely noticed. He'll probably need to be on it for life. As I told him, "Better a crabby you than no you."
About when do you think I won't be startled by Leslie Hope? It's been forever and I'm still side-eying her image...
How long is reasonable for corn to live in your crisper? Four days and a large patch of black fuzzy stuff! That's what happens when you buy food not doused in evil chemicals. Fucking life.
I've decided to work out which fruit I like, for values of fruit that equal apple. So I'm doing a one by one test, organic, since that's closest to the truth, I figure. The apples at Ralphs still tasted like watery ass. And I can't remember which sort, whoch would be useful. Both of the ones I got from Wholefoods were delicious--I'm assuming all sorts of apples are supposed to taste like something that's not ass, right? So, some Gala and Honeycrisp are nice.
Good to know.
Corn on the cob? I have definitely had some stay good for a week in the fridge.
You guys, I might get to go to a Very Exciting work event. Am crossing my fingers.

Never! Corn should go straight from the farmers' market to the grill, or else be bought frozen. t /corn snob
That is also a true fact, although corn does not need to be grilled. It should definitely be cooked the same day it is picked, though.
If corn is in season, chances are I'm going to be grilling. But I am also a fire snob as well as being a corn snob.
