I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

Always Anti-fascist!

maybe the girls are in dresses, and on the floor you can see panties(although I did that in preschool a lot and didn't care. But we know my family isn't normal.)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I feel like I'm being passive-aggressive with my coworker, but honestly, if I tell you something is in Flickr, you ought to be able to find it without me tracking it down and sending you a direct link.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh dear, Tom and Lorenzo are right! Most of those outfits are not so good.

Because girls are taught not to get dirty and playing on the floor is dirty?

Hmm, I doubt that. My guess would be that it has more to do with what kinds of imaginary play (or not) are going along with the blocks. Like floor play tends to get expansive and involve cites or roads that connect everyone's separate structures, whereas table play is more contained and usually just a couple kids building one thing together. Not sure how gender fits in there, however.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Pretty sure Batman is prepared for that. He has kryptonite, just in case Superman goes evil. Or, I don't know, just to fuck with Superman.

My money is on Leia.

I know Bats is tormented and whatnot from seeing his parents die bloody in an alley, but Leia watched her a dude kill not only her parents and her entire planet without giving up the info, HE TURNED OUT TO BE HER DAD (Spoiler-fonted because it amuses me to spoiler-font Star Wars.)

She once strangled a guy with a chain for dressing her as a hooker and licking her once or twice. I woulndn't screw with Leia.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

for dressing her as a hooker and licking her once or twice

I don't think we saw the same movie.

Princess Leia--formidable. Batman, despite all evidence, written as indomitable. Mostly Batman trumps Batman. External opponents, less often than you might think.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But could Batman use the force? It's hinted that Leia possibly could.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Obviously, Batman doesn't need The Force.
