I don't think we saw the same movie.
Princess Leia--formidable. Batman, despite all evidence, written as indomitable. Mostly Batman trumps Batman. External opponents, less often than you might think.
But could Batman use the force? It's hinted that Leia possibly could.
Obviously, Batman doesn't need The Force.
But what if Vader force-chokes him? Would Batman have to invent a Midichlorian-pesticide?
If Batman is in a force-chokehold, he still has time to reach into his utility belt and throw a batarang. Can Vader use the Force offensively and defensively at the same time?
But what if Vader force-chokes him?
If Batman is not concerned with super strength, heat vision, ice breath, flying opponents, etc, the force? Come on. The force couldn't kill a Robin. And we know what their lifespans are like.
