It's the first really warm day here this spring. Monday it was 10C (and a cold 10 C) and today Boom, it's 25C.
I want to bake an egg now, and yes, you should take of the whole week if you're taking three days.
I had a sudden-onset allergy attack two days ago after nothing for weeks of "Severe Pollen Alert!" from my weather app -- whatever that was didn't bother me at all. I guess something new is producing now. The Claritin knock-off is working. Now I just don't know when to stop taking it again. Eh.
I get to see old college friends this weekend -- former roommate has her reunion, and she was a class ahead of me, so a bunch of those people will be in town (DC, that is. Which I still think of as "my town"), and we're having brunch. So excited. Haven't seen them for years. Come to think of it, they're both former roomies, too.
What are people doing this weekend? I meant to ask.

I have this recipe I want to try out; it's basically an egg baked on top of half an avocado, with parm and bacon sprinkled on top.
Now I want to try that one too, although a half and avo sounds like a lot, could probably work with a couple slices lining the bottom of the cup.
And nom Kat, now I want to make one with whipping cream. Unlike you, I'm more likely to have butter in the house than whipping cream, but yes, mom made them with that when we had it around. So good!

My weekend plans: a long run, a bike ride, some visiting with my oldest friend in the world, and lots of time with my folks.
Possibly a good meal, since my oldest brother sent me a gift certificate to Pizzaiolo.
