My weekend plans: a long run, a bike ride, some visiting with my oldest friend in the world, and lots of time with my folks.
Possibly a good meal, since my oldest brother sent me a gift certificate to Pizzaiolo.
Yesterday we had a grilled cheese truck by our office, and that was awesome, but today there isn't even anything good in the cafeteria. So we'll see what I end up with. I should remember not to have egg salad if I'm going to be testing deviled eggs this weekend. (I mean, I like eggs, but I don't need that many hard-boiled.)
Also, I have no weekend plans, so yoga, family dinner, and maybe the beach.
Those sound like good plans, Consuela, with a good amount of self-care folded in.
My weekend is not actually planned, which is probably a mistake. Oh well.
Now I want to try that one too, although a half and avo sounds like a lot, could probably work with a couple slices lining the bottom of the cup.
See, I saw that baked thing and thought it looked yummy but like a heck of a lot of avocado.
For a while I was good about poaching an egg in the microwave and putting on toast, but then I was trying to do it in a silicone poacher in the actual boiling water, because better, but then I got out of the habit entirely (I am having an americano and a piece of squash bread from the coffee shop down the block, while listening to a teleconference).
I need to do work today that I did not do yesterday. I also have to clean the house ahead of the maid coming. And dang, why will the humane society people not get back to me on KITTENS??
I will happily eat an entire avocado with nothing but a spoon and a little salt, so I do not understand this "half an avo is too much" talk.
My weekend plans: flying to New York on Sunday. I think I'm going to check in to my hotel and mosey over to Central Park, maybe try to see the zoo before it closes.

Right?? Also, I've taken to buying the small ones at TJs.
I'm having soft-boiled eggs (well, closer to medium-boiled, the way I do them) and a potato with cheese and bacon for lunch. I blame thank you all.
