Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Wow, jaguars are bigger than I thought. And how could I forget snow leopards--they're my favorite!--and clouded leopards. Lynxes are smaller, right? In the littlies category with bobtails and such?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Lynxes are indeed smaller (the bobcat is itself a species of lynx), though the Eurasian lynx is larger than the clouded leopard. There's a list of cat species by size here: [link]

Hiya, cliomusing!

What a beautiful cat. The largest wildlife I see regularly are deer. Although as I often see them in my apartment's parking lot, I don't know that they exactly put the wild into wildlife. There are rumors of coyotes in the area, but I've never seen one.

NC is in full bloom, with the red bud and dogwoods all in flower. It's a lovely time of year here.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Man, I was just feeding the birds and that thistle seed smelled really appetizing. What is that about?

"Come on, put your back into it. A Watcher scoffs at gravity."

Morning, everybody, and thanks for all the greetings!

The gif of the squirrel going all ninja appeared on the stuffed animal appeared on my tumblr this morning. Took a walk around the Quad, but the memory of that gif had me looking very shifty eyed at one little grey bastard who wouldn't back down from his perch on a tree.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Try to stay dry and not float away, Amy.

I hope you hear soon, msbelle.

I am already tired of my work today, and I am still sitting at home. At least it's Friday.

Hi Monica!

Deer are the largest animals I've seen in the wild - they frequently wander around the woods near my office, and I've had to dodge whole families of them crossing backroads across Arkansas. Though I suppose the baby bear I got to pet in Washington D.C. has grown up larger than that by now.

Our wings are not tired.

Greetings Monica!

Moose would be the biggest, near Moose River in Old Forge, NY.

Nice employment updates! May good word come soon, msbelle.
