The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Try to stay dry and not float away, Amy.

I hope you hear soon, msbelle.

I am already tired of my work today, and I am still sitting at home. At least it's Friday.

Hi Monica!

Deer are the largest animals I've seen in the wild - they frequently wander around the woods near my office, and I've had to dodge whole families of them crossing backroads across Arkansas. Though I suppose the baby bear I got to pet in Washington D.C. has grown up larger than that by now.

Our wings are not tired.

Greetings Monica!

Moose would be the biggest, near Moose River in Old Forge, NY.

Nice employment updates! May good word come soon, msbelle.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Not your average bear.

Not your average pic-i-nic basket.

It might be worth noting that successful axe murderers are rarely accused.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the largest animal I've seen minding its own business not in a zoo or game park or anything is a wildebeest. I'm assuming they are bigger than the intermittently domesticated cows that used to be popular in Kingston in the 70s.

We heard something nosing around our (poorly cleaned) campsite in the Anti Atlas mountains of Morocco. No word on species or size. We basically just huddled and swore and stared dubiously at the entrance to the tent.

Monica? Monica? Oh! Monica. Hi Monica!

Coding and Sleeping

I may have posted this before but I don't remember. It's a massive pun run of dog puns by Andy Zaltzman with John Oliver as the victim.

Don't follow the link if puns make you bleed from the ears. If not, then it's worth a listen.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

All the deer I've seen wandering around the DC suburbs have been medium sized does. Not very impressive.

Probably the biggest wild animals I've ever seen were water buffalo in India, but they were way off in the distance.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm pretty sure my largest animal in the wild was the bear that came into our campsite in Yosemite. Yogi was HUGE (I was also about 10). I still have the sleeping bag case that he ripped up looking for food (mom repaired it and the sleeping bag still fits in it).

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I have seen a mama grizzly bear and her cub from about 100 yards away in Denali, but I (well, my mom, but I was right behind her) have whacked a moose on the butt with our front door. I would rather face down a mama grizzly than an angry moose, I'll tell you.

I am really happy that the UFC takes a stance on its members being transphobic: [link]

However, in the category of not taking a stance: [link] think it's dodgy that her doctors commented, but I suppose she could have given permission.
