My manager has just expanded the scope of my responsibilities on a project in a way we were told specifically not to do, because that's not playing nice with others. I just shut up and take orders. If the task gets done and it's all documented that's enough, right? You can't tell whose writing is whose in MS Office...well, she won't, anyway.
When someone works from home because they need to get stuff done, and you're one of the people that would be asking them stuff when they're here...it kind of dampens the urge to ask them things remotely. But I don't need her less...

I just heard an interesting story on NPR. It was about a gay Christian who was talking about his book he wrote regarding his search for Jesus. He was much more patient about the Westborough Baptist Church then I am and overall sounded pretty reflective and kind. FYI to anyone here interested.

I unfollowed someone on Tumblr because their idea of funny was twenty five flashing animated GIFs with Misha Collins' face superimposed on everything, and I doubt I'll remember to add them back. I have fallen for one online link, and almost reposted it before I realised that today it's a prank--tomorrow it will be a joke, so I'll do it then, maybe.
I brought some of the cookie press product into work--the ones that didn't break, and they're harder to get rid of than they should be. But I did find one guy whose birthday it was, so five of those suckers gone at once. Apparently "hey! I have birthday cookies for you!" startles people.
