Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

3 miles

Oh! Well, then. My experience being dragged around England tells me that I can walk 3 miles, though I may be in pain at the end of it. Run, though, no freaking way.

Hm. I *could*.

Hm.

Yeah, especially if you can find a friend willing to walk it with you, it's totally a nice hour long walk, if you pick the right 5k it can be pretty and scenic, too!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So you spend your hour of therapy walking through the park instead of sitting in an office? Holy shit, that is such a fantastic idea!

It sounds like a great idea to me, too, until I remember I like to cry at therapy, because no one else can see me there!

JFC, my alarm is still chirping at me, even though I got an email that said they fixed it. They did not!

hip deep in pie

Zen, I am hardly fit but I walk almost 5K home from work every day. It takes me just under an hour at a pretty steady, but not hard pace...

I just hope that if they do cancel this flight they do it sooner than later so I can get home somehow...and not really stuck here overnight.

Amy, I think they will pay for a hotel since I am in transit.

Oh dear, that's embarassing -- I just figured out it wasn't the alarm wired into the ceiling, but the prior one that I still have sitting on top of the fridge, whose batteries are running out.

Happy birthday, Beverly!

Steph, I hope the new meds work with minimal internal flora disruption.

I did the couch to 5k thing in 06? 07? Something like that. It was through a program sponsored by a local sport shoe shop. I didn't run an actual race, but I ran the whole 5k prep run with the group, so I figure that counts. I wish I could do it again, but I messed up my ankle in 09, and it's still a bit wonky.
