I have to report that my pork tenderloin with vegetables and red wine and dried figs turned out awesome. My dog just tried to lick my plate.

NOM.

Here's the recipe, if anyone wants it: [link]

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I had my grandmother's pork with tofu recipe tonight. It is simple and delicious and proteiny.

On my trainer's sample menu, one of her snack meals is protein shake with pumpkin and I was all, what is this deliciousness and how do I have it?

That does sound delicious, 'suela!

Ooh, whipped cream icing is totally an idea. I've also been thinking of a pumpkin-butter (or sweet-potato butter) filling, and cream cheese icing.

Liese,

this sounds like overkill. Is there a sauce that goes with this?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I hate all of you people, especially the ones with Trader Joe's.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

The simplest classic Japanese sauce: sugar and soy sauce.

You chop the pork and brown it, then add the soy sauce, sugar, chopped onions, and tofu, cooking until the onions are done and the pork is cooked through, then throw green onions on top. Serve it over hot rice. Except I didn't, because of carbs, woes.

Oh, Dana, I should have bought you something while I was in Santa Fe, you and Stephanie!

Liese,

now hey that sounds delicious.

I'll have one plate, please.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love hearing about everyone's delicious dinners!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I love hearing about everyone's delicious dinners!

We had stir fry.

Tofu marinated in TJ's Island Soyaki. Red Bell pepper, mushrooms, pineapple.

Over rice.
