Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So....

A quick aims-in-Hush-finding guide for P-C, and anyone else curious:

At about 21:00 into the episode, just after the scene where Professor Walsh is giving out orders to Riley and the rest of the Initiative boys, Buffy heads out on patrol.

The scene begins with the camera craning down to show the car smashed into the fire hydrant. When the camera hits street level, Buffy starts walking down the street toward the camera, as the camera pans right to focus on Buffy. Keep your eyes in between the crashed car and Buffy.

At 21:18, a figure becomes revealed from behind the car, part of a group of people in the background. The rightmost figure is wearing a dark coat, light pants, and a cap. At 21:21, she tucks her hair behind her ear and bends forward comforting one of the other members of the group.

That's aims.

Which all seems inappropriate after the furious-making of that freaky-ass vigilante killing.

Yes, I am watching HUSH right now. Love that Netflix is streaming Buffy.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aha!! Now I see her! I mean, I see someone, and it must be her, but I never would have noticed otherwise. Thanks!

That's background work for you. Her shot in Mr. Willis From Ohio is similar, in that she can only be identified by the hair tuck. But her appearance on The Practice is all BAM! AIMS TOTALLY IN YOUR FACE! A COUPLE OF TIMES!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Thank you to everyone who commented on Ryan's musical escapades. I'm really quite impressed with his singing (he takes after his mother).

I have another segment recorded, which I won't post, but I will transcribe:

Wallybee: "Ryan, are you stinky?"
Ryan: "No."
Billytea: "Ryan, do you have stinkypants?"
Ryan: "NO!"
Billytea: "Are you telling the truth?"
Ryan: "Nooo..."
Wallybee: "Ryan, let's go change your nappy."
Ryan: "Want Daddy cuddle!"
Billytea: "You want a Daddy cuddle? Ok, come he--"
Ryan: "I'M NOT UNDER OATH!!"

Which episode of The Practice? Is it Season 1 because that is unfortunately the only season available on DVD.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

For me, there are multiple strands of outrage I have for the trayvon martin situation.

1) that his killer was not arrested

2) that he was killed in the first place

3) that the NRA has pushed these "stand your ground" laws that have been involved in the deaths of 65 people nationwide.

So, it is possible (and perhaps likely) that his killer will never be prosecuted because of the "stand your ground" law, despite the face that what he did clearly seems to most of us a felony. If the killer can claim he felt threatened, that might be enough. Despite the obvious issue that the killer was the aggressor, followed Martin, had a gun, and attacked first.
