So work stress came to a head and we had a talk to clear the air. The issues with this org are so big that it's hard to see what we can do at our level. And there are a few bad apples in key positions who make everyone's life unpleasant and way more stressful than necessary.
IDK. At least it's good to know that my crew aren't snapping at me because they think I'm incompetent, but because of much larger issues.
Speaking of bodies betraying us, has anyone remade "The Reflex" as "The Reflux?" if not, they should.

I thought of you Saturday since I was having lunch with my dog walker (who is also a friend), her wife, their new baby, and another couple whom they met in a "gay and getting pregnant!" class. I'm just floored at all the ways that things/actions/moments that used to have no meaning are suddenly fraught with emotion and weight. It's like being blindsided multiple times a day.
The weight of everything is what's surprised me the most.
