Maria, my deepest sympathies. I am so sorry. Please lean on anyone you need, including us. So, so sorry.
We're going to the vet on Friday. I'm actually going out of town for the weekend and I'm boarding him there. Maybe that's a good thing. They'll be able to observe him pretty closely for three days.
The vet should be able to give you ways to see even hidden pain. And it's hard. But you are a good cat owner and will make the difficult, unselfish choices, I know.
