That's my girl, large and in-charge. Okay, teensy-weensy and in charge.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Don't suppose anyone else is awake out there?

Might be. No kittens. I do have a little boy who, on occasion, calls me "Silly Penguin" and who says goodnight by saying "See you guys". So that's pretty cute. Maybe I should get two of them.

I found out last week that my boss and his wife are having triplets. Aaand I haven't seen him since. It's been an interesting week.

The status is NOT quo.

I gave up trying to sleep and am just getting some schoolwork done, since I was so inspired. It’s going to be a long day tomorrow, but hopefully this will reset my internal clock and allow me to get a good night’s sleep tomorrow night. I’m afraid to try to nap now since I have to be up in less than 90 minutes.

Aww, cute sproglet! You are totally a Silly Penguin. Clearly he is both intelligent and insightful. But triplets? Gah. I can barely handle having two kittens at the same time.

Seriously. I can only hope they have some good help. (Oh, hey, does Drew know of Chocolate Starfish, Australian band from the 90s? My boss' brother played guitar with them.)

Meanwhile, I am watching episode one of The Wire, Season 3, and it is simply hilarious. Stringer Bell trying to run a meeting with his dealers according to Robert's Rules of Order? Comedy gold.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

It's the first day of classes. I need to get to campus and do all sorts of prep stuff that I didn't do last week. Don't wanna.

Trust my rage

An acquaintance of mine had triplets. The first two years were seriously challenging and she had two older kids to help out.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

billytea, that is one of my very favorite bits. No one ever mentions how fucking funny The Wire is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thrive to spite them

Back from the vet. Dean more than likely has bronchitis. Possibly asthma, but the vet would need a chest x ray and she said it sound more like bronchitis so she wasn't pushing the chest x ray.

She gave me an antibiotic, showed me a trick for it, shaved his backside and cleaned him up for me. And told me to watch him like a hawk, if his breathing changes bring him back in. The other stuff she thinks is just Dean getting into food he shouldn't.
