billytea, that is one of my very favorite bits. No one ever mentions how fucking funny The Wire is.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
No one ever mentions how fuckingfunny The Wire is.
Fuck.
Sheeeeeeeeit.
Back from the vet. Dean more than likely has bronchitis. Possibly asthma, but the vet would need a chest x ray and she said it sound more like bronchitis so she wasn't pushing the chest x ray.
She gave me an antibiotic, showed me a trick for it, shaved his backside and cleaned him up for me. And told me to watch him like a hawk, if his breathing changes bring him back in. The other stuff she thinks is just Dean getting into food he shouldn't.
Fuck.
Sheeeeeeeeit.
You happy now, bitch?
Context-free work rant: god, I get tired of douchebags and swingin' dicks and admins getting treated like shit. Just needed to say that somewhere.
My shoulder blade and errant rib have decided my life needed more excruciating pain. I had worked to not do anything that could hurt it. I didn't take my luggage to the attic. I didn't work on corralling the millions of leaves in my yard. It seemed almost well until the weekend, and I've been icing it and cursing every since. Is a couple of weeks without my body turning on me too much to ask?
At least I'm perfecting my world-class whining skills.
Favorite funny moments from the Wire:
CORNERBOY(In "white" accent) : Young man, do you know where the Poe House is?(Normal voice) I said "Dude, look around!"
Snot Boogie
"A day at a time, I suppose."
"English, motherfucker, English!"
an orange-couch moment regarding Ronald's "clowny ass" and McDonald's fries
Bunk and Jimmy's,uh, secret language
Clay Davis
CRIME REPORTER:
Is that all? Only three places at once? Maybe you can put a broom up my ass and I can sweep the floor, too!(Although maybe that one is in the delivery.)
First, ~mas to you in need of them.
And now, mearing because it's there and staring at me:
Shir crossed an entire country to come to The Girl's father's shiva last week, and I was awestruck (and probably have not thanked her enough)
Eh, sure. I guess that's true. I mean, it was the taking-two-hours-to-cross-if-there's-traffic side of the country, but I guess it correlates with the very fuzzy geographical essence of this place.
And hey, please. I needed this visit as well and it was lovely to see you two despite the circumstances, so thank you and the Girl for having me. You two are dear to me, as this place.
IreallyON: kittens! and The Wire! Woo-hoo!
(Now I'm imagining the cast with kittens. And it's all your fault).
I don't know if it was posted, but Ronald Searle died.
