Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Gauc is a great after sex snack. Too filling for before sex. Can't picture any other erotic possibilities for it.

...I'm not sure I've ever seriously missed someone in three days. I mean, maybe "wished they happened to be nearer because I'd like to get some", or "had a really bad day and wanted a hug" and sometimes random event reminds me of a friend I haven't seen in too long, but not just random missing someone I just saw, on a short not-horrible trip.
(Part of the reason I'm irked at the facebook stalking of ex is because she apparently checked in at my two-stepping bar last night. Where I'd normally be, except I was at a party. I'm annoyed she shows up at the one place, on night a week, that is "mine")
Sweet lord, registering for stuff is kind of exhausting. And we're only halfway done. (I know that's an extremely diamond-shoes-are-too-tight complaint.) I just thought it would be faster to go in, say coffeemaker, plates, toaster, etc., scan with the gun, and be done. But...NSM. Because we had to debate the features of every [whatever] and whether we *really* needed it, etc., etc.
And we get to do it again tomorrow. Gah.
On the upside, I now own an Avengers plastic tumbler dealie! The double-walled kind that everyone has now. It will go to work with me and I can retire the church festival tumbler I've been using for 100 years.
Epic, I totally hear you. I have some friends/exes that...sure, we didn't work out, but it's kinda sad-making anyway when they've married/had kids/etc. In part just because they're doing things I want to do and haven't gotten to yet.
Yes, definitely in the mix.

I've been needing a new thing to bribe myself with to get exercising more regularly - I believe I may just be inspired!
Oh, so I started the squats thing. I did the 50 on Wednesday. And then 55 on Thursday. And then none yesterday because I was asleep all day (migraine) and then at a party. But today I worked out with my trainer and he made me do 100, so I figure I'm still on track.
Yesterday I got snagged from working at my favorite, easy house, to work at my toughest house. And then the person who was suppsed to relieve me at 2pm called in. (I believe that's a case of "I asked for that day off months ago, now you tell me I can't have it off because we are short-handed, well guess what, I'm not coming in anyway, you decide whether you want to fire me and fill the rest of my hours as well as the five other people who've quit or been fired in the last two weeks." and I just hope it takes that person out of the running for house manager.) So I got to stay until 9pm.
I'm so exhausted now that I accidentally dumped my hot cocoa mix into the mug I'd put mug cake mix in, instead of into the mug the hot water was in. Turns out, the added milk and chocolate flavoriting makes the mug cake even nicer.
I'm going back to bed.
I hope they don't ask me to work on Monday. I won't be able to say yes.
I hope you got some nice rest, Andi.
It was great seeing Java, Sparky and family today. They've built a great community...very enjoyable to be around.
Something charming from my evening walk with Cagney...A mom walking beside her roughly 4 year old son, as he pushed along his pre-bike.
She sang, in a quiet voice, "Don't worry about a thing..." and he dueted, singing to the opera house, "Cuz EVERY LITTLE THING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT!!" Mommy! Sing it again.
Very sweet.
Then we got jumped by an orange tabby cat. Seriously, it slipped between a fence about 10 feet in front of us, so I figured we were okay. Cagney hadn't seen the cat, but he behaved a little spooked...he's an wuss.
After we passed the cat's house, I just happened to look behind me to see the little blighter _charging_ us from behind! It almost got ugly.
What is the point of that cat?

You walked past its part of the universe and did not show due deference. That's all some cats need.
You walked past its part of the universe and did not show due deference.
I honestly believe this is case.
Sheesh, Cat. We wander in peace. Swearz.
