You walked past its part of the universe and did not show due deference.
I honestly believe this is case.
Sheesh, Cat. We wander in peace. Swearz.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

For those who aren't on FB, I wanted to share a happy thing. As I mentioned yesterday, this morning was my first race day. I only started training seriously about 5-6 weeks ago, and I've made steady progress over that time. Well today I exceeded my time (and expectations, frankly!). I finished the 5K with an average pace of 10:12, much faster than my previous time (10:55). I'm pretty stoked and decided to sign up with a local running group to train for the Pasadena half marathon (though I plan to only do the 10K at this point) on June 30th. So yay!
Yay Pix on the running!
But today I worked out with my trainer and he made me do 100, so I figure I'm still on track.
Yeah, I am not doing the squat challenge, but felt vindicated in my choice yesterday when my stretch teacher made me do like 40 minutes of squats/isometrics in the squat position. I figure if I'm doing that once a week, I'm good.
I made it through my 70 squats in one go. It was a strain, but I wonder if I'm not doing it right.
Does the FB chart give instructions on how to do the squats? I just assumed it did.
No , it doesn't . Here is what i know
do not let you knees go past your toes when squating -
how to do this. You weight is in your heels and in your butt. As you go down --look staight out - not down or up. This helps keep you back in a neutral position. ( not curved, but not stiff) Abs should be pulled in . No bounce. slow and control. I riase my arms to shoulder height as I go down.
If you walk a lot or stand a lot, 50 is not that hard. So I am guessing that why you can do 70, bonny. Even though I have done bigger sets. I find that after 30 - they get sloppy feeling . So I figure it makes sense to brake them into sets. The first set is always hard, but then again I am doing it about 10 - 15 minutes out of bed.
what has been interesting is that some days I feel them , some time s stiff , sometimes sore, but some days I don't feel them at all. no rhyme or reason that I can track
Thanks le n
Holy Cow, Frank, so glad you made it out okay, so sorry about your landlord. I hope transitioning to a new place is as easy as possible for you and that things come together as smoothly as possible. Much peace to you.
The new version of fitbit that you can wear on your wrist is now available for order, but it is already back ordered, so it will take a few weeks to come in. I just ordered mine, and I know some people here expressed interest in getting one, so I thought I'd mention it.
I called my mental health line for my insurance provider and was given three new names of possible therapists. So, not it is just a matter of calling my current therapist and telling her I'm not coming back. She's just done too many things that I find to be upsetting as well as made me feel like she is judging me. I kept crying on and off all weekend. The person on the phone for my health care provider was very nice. He is a therapist also and gave me some tips for choosing someone new.
