Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

I need to ask for your hair stylist's name, too.

oh yes. awesomesauce hair stylist.

and, if you need it, my acupuncture miracle-worker. Tomorrow makes 4 months without a migraine. This is a right miracle.

plus, we have co-op grocery stores (in addition to TJs)!

Wow, that's fantastic.

co-op grocery stores

Oh, I love that concept! I flirted with it in northern Del., before I moved to Balto., but never did sign up. Do you do CSA? That's another thing I want to do for sure.

We don't, but we have a fantastic Saturday market a block away. I know people who do, and will ask who likes theirs.

Cool, thanks!

I am really excited about this move. And I just talked to my new boss this morning, and I am going to move up the Saturday/Sunday after Thanksgiving and start work that Monday.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

This is my favorite part of being a buffista: you never have to be alone. There are us *everywhere* (okay, almost everywhere, not here, obviously) and people moving to a new city get to move *to* buffistas a lot of the time.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

but I also see the delicious, hilarious irony in this.

When I worked for the power company, a construction crew down the street severed the power cable to our building. Without power, there was damn little we could do, so we were sent home. I trudged down 22 flights of stairs to find that every local station was filming us, because they found the power company without power irresistible.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

We just found out that the head of our program is going to come speak to us all tomorrow first thing. The general reaction to this announcement was uncertainty and nervous jokes.

Hmm.
