Cool, thanks!
I am really excited about this move. And I just talked to my new boss this morning, and I am going to move up the Saturday/Sunday after Thanksgiving and start work that Monday.
'Shindig'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Cool, thanks!

awesome! keep me posted!
This is my favorite part of being a buffista: you never have to be alone. There are us *everywhere* (okay, almost everywhere, not here, obviously) and people moving to a new city get to move *to* buffistas a lot of the time.
but I also see the delicious, hilarious irony in this.
When I worked for the power company, a construction crew down the street severed the power cable to our building. Without power, there was damn little we could do, so we were sent home. I trudged down 22 flights of stairs to find that every local station was filming us, because they found the power company without power irresistible.
We just found out that the head of our program is going to come speak to us all tomorrow first thing. The general reaction to this announcement was uncertainty and nervous jokes.
Hmm.
sigh ... I just had a series of emails back and forth with someone in my office who just CANNOT understand that what she sees on her screen isn't what everyone - or even most people - will see on theirs. Well, OF COURSE, everyone will see exactly what she sees ... and stop being difficult.
Can you send her a screen shot of what most people see?
She won't believe it - if it looks all right on her screen, anyone who has a problem is doing something wrong.
I've been there, Todd. I've wanted to beat people over the head while yelling, "This is not print. This is not print. It will never work like print."
