Jeez, don't get all Movie of the Week. I was just too cheap to buy you a real present.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

I don't like the hose and open toe but it kind of depends on how open the toe is and the type of hose. I did fishnet and a slightly open toe for a fancy dinner in October and I think it worked.

But what about something like this?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're home. I love my family, and I love TCG. However, I cannot wait for TCG to go to work tomorrow so that I can some quiet, alone time. However, if someone wants to bug me to got to the gym tomorrow, that would probably be a good thing.

One of my roommates' best friends just got married, and they did not live together beforehand, and apparently is having some of the same issue, sj--she is like "I don't know how to get alone time! We live together! This is making me crazy!" (Poor thing is also new to a city she's not fond of, they were on the phone for a long time last night)

I got up so early and did so much today that it feels ridiculously late at 5pm. Geez. But I had a good time--cheered on my roommate and a whole bunch of other half-marathon and marathon runners, pissed off a guy who wanted me to stop ringing my cowbell for them (he should be glad I didn't bring my roommate's vuvuzela!), and then went on a date where we walked all over Fremont checking out the Sunday Market and the sights. And making out. :)

It is one of the advantages of being unable to work, but every once in a while I do have the urge to go on a vacation all by myself for a few days, and then I feel incredibly guilty for having that thought.

ETA: Yay making out!

ION, if I saw my niece every day there would be no need to ever work out. She likes to be constantly moving, and between lifting her up and down with my arms and bouncing her with my legs over the past two days I am more exhausted and sore than I am when I go to the gym.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

One of the happiest couples I know does that plenty.

TCG probably would be fine with it, but we don't have the means at the moment, so it's a moot point.

brillig

I'll go on daytrips by myself. I think I would huddle up in a ball and pout if I tried sleeping by myself away from Hubby.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Since we've moved I've gone on many more trips without Tom than we used to do. He has like zero vacation time and I have family obligations. I miss him like crazy when I'm visiting family (I really miss the support he gives me as well as just him, in general) but when I was in San Francisco a couple months ago, it was better. Mostly because I was having super fun times. Though I did wish a lot he was there with me, because I know he'd have had super fun times as well.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Goddamn. I lost D's bank card and it's been used, so he has to cancel it and get a new one. I used it to get poboys at a bar this afternoon while he waited in the car; to be honest, I don't remember the lady giving me the card back, but it's entirely possible that she did and I just left it on the counter like an ass.

He doesn't seem to be mad or even fazed, but this is just the latest in a series of space case moves I've made and I'm super frustrated with myself. Mindfulness, everything comes back to being more mindful.

{{Smonster}}} You've had a lot to deal with lately; don't be so hard on yourself. We have all done stupid things like that.
