When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Have a good one, Scrappy!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Birthday, Scrappy!!! Have a wonderful day!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy Scrappy Day, indeed.

Hi, Seska! Good to see your pixels.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Happy Scrappy!

Darn it, I have no JZ! I had a JZ when I woke up! Why must I return her?

Sigh.

Gronk. Work ate me starting from my bottom.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Plei, did your DH already tell you about how we pulled up right behind the bus as the driver was locking down the baggage section, and had to sprint out and flag him down at the speed of light? Thrilling! It was like being in a crazy urban adventure film or a TAR episode, only with a muzzy-headed child and a car seat.

Also, Matilda may possibly have talked his ear off about Teen Titans Go! on the drive out, for which I would apologize except that it was really damned cute.

I really, really, desperately wish we all lived close enough for something more than annual playdates. Except for the ridiculous heat wave, that was a truly blissy weekend.

Fortunately, today is Scrappy's birthday, which is a whole 'nother layer of blissy. Thank you for existing, Scrappy, and congratulations to your parents on bringing such awesomeness into the world!

Ha! No, Paul has not been in contact yet this morning. I'll have to tell him how J and H were frantically trying to find ALL THE THINGS this morning when I dropped Lilly off at their house. They just got back from a week at J's folks' place, and of course, everything's still in suitcases.

I had been worried because we were running late, but they were running even later than we were!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

By the way, latest update on my brother's wedding: apparently my dad was having a calm and rational conversation until my mom flipped out and everything became a yelling match again. Now the deal is that, actually, no, they can't do April/May because that's when a relative is getting married, so if they don't want a spring/summer wedding, they can have the wedding next October, since, after all, "There's an October every year." They now have no hope that my brother will dump FSIL, so they want some time to "heal" and get to know her, not having bothered to get to know her in the last two years. And my mom is coming here for a month next week, and they can't be bothered to meet her before then, or after then, or anything, I guess. Also, if my brother goes through with this, it will be a sign to the family that marrying a white woman is acceptable, never mind the fact that my cousin is openly dating a Filipina girl and his parents don't care. Never mind the fact that the rest of the family already supports my brother. Finally, they're mad at my brother for talking to his aunts and uncles about this because it was a big secret only they were allowed to talk about, not, you know, his actual life.

I just get angrier and angrier at them for the way they're treating him.
