'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yeah, my only interest in suspension is to see if it would unkink my back. But since I know people who do it and teach it professionally, I should go talk to them.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I will guinea pig for them. It's not my kink but I am excellent at feedback on whether a therapy is working or aligned or not.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Lovely dress, Sail!

Okay, the foam rollers... they're made of foam and shaped like logs, right? And you roll them over hurty muscles? And this hurts, but then it helps?

The status is NOT quo.

Oh the evil of foam rollers...

Basically, yes. It's intense pain but really works.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

hurts like a sonofabitch in bastard sauce.

I love this phrase. I may repeat it, giggling, at odd intervals.

ETA: In fact, I want to build a shrine to it so that all the internet may come and worship it.

Heh. I'll let you know how the person in question feels about the notion of practicing his suspension work on non-kink oriented folks.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

And you roll them over hurty muscles?

Well, you put the foam roller on the floor and then put your painful body part on it, and roll. So the pain is the combination of body weight + solid foam roll.

t edit It's like the tennis ball trick, but since the foam roller is WAY more dense, it hurts WAY more.

Heh. I am kink oriented and happy to guinea pig for back issues also...though I suppose if I really wanted that I could find it. I do have friends who deliberately put suspension points in their ceiling when they remodeled

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I like a good deep-tissue every now and then; I would be curious about the rollers.

Suspension, NSM. I'm fine in a rappelling harness, but not being able to get out GETOUGETOUT would freak my shit out.

And I don't know if neck-tying is part of suspension, but I can't even wear chokers or turtlenecks, it freaks me out so much. I think I was strangled to death in a former life.
