With so many points of suspension, it almost looks like it would be therapeutic for someone with back problems.
Heh. Some time ago, a kinkster friend of mine was doing what he said was "fascia release" on my back--it was hella painful but also amazing at the same time. He was apparently impressed by how long I wanted it to go on, etc, and was like "You should do hook suspensions!". Which...no. But amusing!

I would totally try hook suspensions. I am putting off getting a foam roller for my hip. Those things are effective but so shockingly painful. Fascia release seems to be bodyspeak for more pain that you can believe but also effective.

Yup. That's what I was doing when I posted in the middle of the night last night.
Did a marathon three-hour tour of the Lower Ninth Ward today, then refueled and rehydrated in Marigny/Bywater, then I dropped the folks off and came home to take a nap myself. And now, we're about to have dinner with StW! I'd be nervous, but I'm mostly still too tired. I'm kind of hoping my parents are in favor of bagging the plantation tour tomorrow in favor of bumming around town on their last day, but we'll see.
Still haven't started taxes!! Shh, don't tell my parents.
Cabin in the Woods -- FUN!!!!!!
And I haven't been to the theatre we saw it in in about 5 years and they have a BAR and RECLINERS!!!
It was fantastic.
(It's the simple things in life.)

I also tried fire cupping last night, on my back. It kind of hurts, because of the amount of suction created, but it also feels like a really deep massage. (And today my back looks like an octopus attacked me!)
t edit
And holy crap, the foam roller hurts like a sonofabitch in bastard sauce. But it really does help.
Foam rollers really helped me a lot, until one of my cats peed on them.

You might be my hero in this. I mostly end up throwing my leg up on the counter to stretch my hip. But it's been bad and I should get a roller.

Really, they hurt enough that I want to pee on them.

WB has a home kit for this, although instead of using fire to create the suction, it simply has a pistol-looking apparatus that sucks the air out of a valve.

SMONSTER!!! Did you file for extension? Heh.
You all should go to the Food and Beverage Museum and W.I.N.O. It's supposed to be rainy. Take 'em to August for the prixe fixe lunch or to Root. Go to the Carousel Bar and sit at the rotating bar and then hop over to Mr. B's for BBQ shrimp?
