I like a good deep-tissue every now and then; I would be curious about the rollers.
Suspension, NSM. I'm fine in a rappelling harness, but not being able to get out GETOUGETOUT would freak my shit out.
And I don't know if neck-tying is part of suspension, but I can't even wear chokers or turtlenecks, it freaks me out so much. I think I was strangled to death in a former life.
I don't know if neck-tying is part of suspension
Only by really unsafe assholes. (IOW, it's not a good idea to ever put rope around someone's neck even if they aren't suspended, but DEFINITELY not if they're suspended.)
I didn't THINK it would be, but while I like a good neck-bitin', someone puts their hands around my neck, my reflex will cause them to draw back a bloody stump. UGH.
I didn't THINK it would be
Well, some people do stupid shit. It is, however, warned against in big red letters by most people who want to survive to have kinky fun another day.
Did a viewing at the place in Westminster. It had a nice looking kitchen. apparently Ikea. The rest of the place was eh. And lots of grafitti in the area. So I passed on it. But my realtor had a paper that needed signing from the short sale place. Something about "I don't know the current owner" thing. So, I take that as a sign of progress. As much as I'd like this to be done with, if it takes another month or so, it might time perfecty with summer break, so I can move in peace, and not during hectic work time.
So, now I'm cruising the Ikea site checking out how much it would cost to remodel a kitchen.
Omnis, that’s so exciting! You know I’m totally on board to help you decorate this summer.
Sweet! I see a painting party shorty after purchase!
Oh, and for those who are procrastinating to do taxes, don't forget, tax day is actually TUESDAY, because Monday is a holiday in D.C.

Well, it's confirmed that Matilda is a Buffista child.
I just found her Ken doll wearing Barbie's dress.
You might be my hero in this
Well, I might be more worthy of hero status if I did the stretches and exercises that would prevent middle-of-the-night hip pain that wakes me up.
hurts like a sonofabitch in bastard sauce
Really, such an expressive turn of phrase. Well done, Tep.
I use a foam roller, tennis balls, baseballs, a large bouncy ball, a couple of balls the size of small grapefruits, a yoga strap... it's all very complicated. And painful.
SMONSTER!!! Did you file for extension? Heh.
You know, I thought about emailing Cher G., but no. I *think* I can still do the online 1040EZ, in which case it'll take me an hour or two. If not, I may be hosed.
You all should go to the Food and Beverage Museum and W.I.N.O. It's supposed to be rainy. Take 'em to August for the prixe fixe lunch or to Root. Go to the Carousel Bar and sit at the rotating bar and then hop over to Mr. B's for BBQ shrimp?
All wonderful ideas. I think we may just kick around their neighborhood and mine, maybe get a muffaletta or a roast beef poboy somewhere. My mom wants to buy me a housewarming gift, so maybe I'll replace the slow cooker. We have officially ditched the plantation thing - I think we're all kind of tired of tourist stuff. The L9 really wore them out emotionally... my dad just finished reading Zeitoun and he was talking tonight about when the Greyhound station got turned into a Gitmo-style prison after Katrina, and my mom had to ask him to stop because she couldn't take hearing any more.
tax day is actually TUESDAY
Yes, I knew that! So I will likely be doing them Tuesday night after work. Whee?
Man, Bacchanal was *packed*. Walked around for ten minutes looking for a table, and finally pounced on one near the stage. So conversation was difficult, especially since my dad needs a damn hearing aid, as previously stated. They did enjoy meeting StW, and I really appreciate that he came out, given that he is starting his fourth week without a day off. Yes, fourth. He'll have off this weekend, but will still have to work to prepare a lecture for Monday.
