That is a gorgeous dress, Sail!
In other news, severe thunderstorms are supposed to roll in this evening, complete with tornado watch. Argh.
Anyhow, taxes are done, except for double-checking one thing, but that will have to wait until tomorrow.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good work, Aims!
We have not done much... the plan was to go to the French Quarter Fest, but leaving the house seems like it's not happening. Did put together our new bed frame today, and put on slipcovers for our new-to-us sitting room furniture, so, feeling pretty accomplished. Hung out with smonster and her parents on both Friday and Saturday though, which was good times.
Aims, can you send some of that power this way? I'm back at the apartment and need to do some organizing and packing, but I have no idea where to even start.
Wow, I'm impressed also! I have been feeling exhausted all weekend. Which might make sense if I'd actually danced as much as I planned...but instead I sat out half the classes and went home early from the evenings, because I was so tired! Ugh. Only took one class this morning, and watched a second one, ate lunch, and then tried to grocery shop on the way home...got into the store, put a thing or two in my basket, was staring blankly at frozen vegetables and decided I did not have the energy to shop, took things out of the basket and came home. I'm thinking a nap now. Even though I think I got nine hours of sleep last night. WTF.
Indeed. With so many points of suspension, it almost looks like it would be therapeutic for someone with back problems.
I was thinking that last night.
Pix, I am glad you got medical attention and I hope you don't have ill effects from the concussion. Scrambled brains are not what we're aiming for here.
I got some grocery shopping and errands done today. My cupboards were more than bare. But it was the cats needing things that finally got me motivated. And the sun being out helped. Not a lot, but some.

Heh. Some time ago, a kinkster friend of mine was doing what he said was "fascia release" on my back--it was hella painful but also amazing at the same time. He was apparently impressed by how long I wanted it to go on, etc, and was like "You should do hook suspensions!". Which...no. But amusing!

I would totally try hook suspensions. I am putting off getting a foam roller for my hip. Those things are effective but so shockingly painful. Fascia release seems to be bodyspeak for more pain that you can believe but also effective.

Yup. That's what I was doing when I posted in the middle of the night last night.
Did a marathon three-hour tour of the Lower Ninth Ward today, then refueled and rehydrated in Marigny/Bywater, then I dropped the folks off and came home to take a nap myself. And now, we're about to have dinner with StW! I'd be nervous, but I'm mostly still too tired. I'm kind of hoping my parents are in favor of bagging the plantation tour tomorrow in favor of bumming around town on their last day, but we'll see.
Still haven't started taxes!! Shh, don't tell my parents.
Cabin in the Woods -- FUN!!!!!!
And I haven't been to the theatre we saw it in in about 5 years and they have a BAR and RECLINERS!!!
It was fantastic.
(It's the simple things in life.)

I also tried fire cupping last night, on my back. It kind of hurts, because of the amount of suction created, but it also feels like a really deep massage. (And today my back looks like an octopus attacked me!)
t edit And holy crap, the foam roller hurts like a sonofabitch in bastard sauce. But it really does help.
