Did you guys know that sinus headaches are actually migraines?
Fuck yes I did.

Fuck yes I did.
Unsurprisingly, I also knew.
I did all the work I could, so I am now doing personal stuff.
While I am happy to have this part-time work and actually enjoy most things about it, the other person in the office has a couple of personality trait that would get old really fast, especially with it just being the two of us.
1) she's really scattered, like really really
2) she's easily confused and can kinda only see things from one point - like to the point of never understanding how other people do things if they do not take the sames exact steps as her.
3) I think #1 & #2 combine a lot and result in her kinda assuming that everyone is not doing a good enough job. I cannot tell you how many times she has told me people are a pain or they didn't do a job well, or they were hard to work with or or or.
And she really is a nice lady, but her glass is absolutely half empty.
OMG, I've had to lead a meeting and I just can't keep my voice up, and I have to put the phone on mute to sneeze.
Anyway, that player interview changed my life. I found you guys. The gaming company hired me. I learned programming. The extra part-time income, worked remotely, gave me the cushion and confidence I needed to move to Kansas, where I got a better job since I now could program, which paid off my debts, which allowed me to move to Arizona to start my own company doing what I'm passionate about.
Wow! Amazing to be able to draw that line from such a specific point.
I don't feel like motivating to work, either.
msbelle, you have just described my boss, except add extreme insecurity to the mix and a tendency to think that anyone who is direct is "difficult" to work with.
Someone I'm facebook friends with just posted this:
You know those internet acronyms that the young people use nowadays? I made up a new one I'm going to start using. It is "IME". "In my experience".
Should I tell him?
As long as you don't go on to tell him about BMECT.
Heh.
OMG, I just got a bunch of compliments on the requirements gathering meeting from hell. Not only do I feel like shit on toast warmed over, but I don't feel I got my questions answered.
But, hey, if the boss thinks I look good, I look good, right?
