Anyway, that player interview changed my life. I found you guys. The gaming company hired me. I learned programming. The extra part-time income, worked remotely, gave me the cushion and confidence I needed to move to Kansas, where I got a better job since I now could program, which paid off my debts, which allowed me to move to Arizona to start my own company doing what I'm passionate about.
Wow! Amazing to be able to draw that line from such a specific point.
I don't feel like motivating to work, either.
msbelle, you have just described my boss, except add extreme insecurity to the mix and a tendency to think that anyone who is direct is "difficult" to work with.
Someone I'm facebook friends with just posted this:
You know those internet acronyms that the young people use nowadays? I made up a new one I'm going to start using. It is "IME". "In my experience".
Should I tell him?
As long as you don't go on to tell him about BMECT.
OMG, I just got a bunch of compliments on the requirements gathering meeting from hell. Not only do I feel like shit on toast warmed over, but I don't feel I got my questions answered.
But, hey, if the boss thinks I look good, I look good, right?
Kathy, I keep meaning to tell you how awed and impressed I am with your progress. You're amazing, and you look terrific!
And ita, you look absolutely fantastic. Goes without saying.
As long as you don't go on to tell him about BMECT.
But My Experience Counts Too?
Woo! Apple just sent me a shipment notice for the laptop, with a FedEx tracking number which does indeed have actual tracking information when I click on it.
Apparently you CAN ship a computer next-day to Cincinnati from The Rift.
