"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Dang, I want to see it.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Monocle, Mona Lisa's eye, magnifying glass, false eyelashes.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Tiny brass monocle? Tint the lucite rose-colored? Inscribe something about hindsight?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If you were making a paperweight with a glass eye in it, what would you do with it?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

No thoughts on donuts?

Homer would be very disappointed.

Get or borrow a helper monkey to help you carry the donuts?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

If we have 94 people in this office, how many donuts should I buy for an all office breakfast? I was thinking 9 dozen (108).

I'd go for an even 10 dozen. Some people (by which I mean I hope there are some people other than me), would want two donuts for breakfast.

Good point. I think a lot of people will want two, even though there will be people who don't want any. Better too many than not enough, right?
