A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ib been sig.

I mean, I've been sick.

I felt shitty all day Friday, but thought it was allergies (yes) and then the business of graduation.

I came home after graduation and crashed, and I have been Sicky McSickerson since then.

I'm pretty sure it's an allergy exacerbated cold -- I am stuff up, my ears are clogged, my throat is swollen and sore and I am tired and sleepy and my joints hurt.

Right when D's out of town till Tuesday, and I have a ton of stuff to do.

BLEARGH.

Ah, well, at least I didn't get behind on my grading. I FINALLY feel a little better this morning, but not enough to have coffee instead of tea. I made it to the store at 7 am yesterday -- which shows you how crap I feel since I DO NOT get up on Sunday's before 8, much less GO anywhere.

Trying Xrtec instead of Claritin. Got cat food and dog food

I think, though, I will try to clean my office and get a few things done, and then spend the balance of the day in the Safe Room -- cat-free bedroom, with window-unit going. I am sure I will make it, and this is the last week of school.

I am random. OK.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I started the process of using the treadmill at the mini-gym here (instead of the one at the mini-gym at work as I have been), but I had forgotten how much the mini-gym here SUCKS ASS, and my ipod needed charging, so now I am home at least long enough to put on more sun screen, grab a different ipod, and head out for a walk somewhere else.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Remember back in days of old, when most people only had a single iPod? How did we survive back then?

Holy god, it is miserable out. At 10 am.

Laps had bonus of batshit crazy old russian lady. She pinched me. And apparently the other guy sharing the lane. Told the lifeguard, and he was all "Yeah, she's a fruitloop." Alrighty then!

Going to finish getting dressed and do some shopping.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My brunch plans got cancelled, so now I'm just sitting around. Plans for the day include a walk, TJ's for coffee, and laundry.

I KNOW!

Of course, I still own and use every ipod I've ever had.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Why do y'all sound so productive? My plans for today included sleeping in, but that only got me as far as 7:30, when I finally gave up any hope of falling back asleep. I suck at sleeping in. I also suck at going to bed early, and at sleeping through the night. feh.

I think I need to come up with an activity for the kids today. Yesterday we went to a Hogwarts fan store called Whimsic Alley. They loved it. We didn't have much time, but I promised to go back another time and buy them magic wands.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I got my first (and, arguably, only [if you don't count my phone]) iPod a few years ago. It's stopped charging, so I no longer use it. Besides, I kind of like having the phone on me for the next time I screw up my ankle and need to phone a friend to pick me up.
