I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Managed to sleep until 6, so I guess I won't hit the pool until after MK's shot...

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Woke up at 5:15. Ugh. So much for sleeping in today.

Online pool schedule still hasn't been updated, so I'm not too sure exactly when they're open today. The only reason I think they have open swim from 11-3 is because that's what the woman at the desk told me last week, but she was only going by office rumor, not anything written down. No one is there right now, so I can't even call to find out.

Shady Maple Smorgasbord

That's the one that's a mile down the road from my stepsister!! I'll definitely have to remember that discount for the next time I'm out there.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Crap. My Y isn't open at all today. Ah, well. I'll shift the weights workout to tomorrow and go for a long walk this morning before it gets too hot. If the walk ends at Kaldi's Coffee, well, that's the way things go, isn't it?

In other news, msbelle inspired me to do some much needed virtual decluttering. Email inbox has been whittled down to 4,000. I hate to say it, but that's a significant improvement.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You guys were very productive yesterday! I spent the afternoon sitting on my grandmother's porch, basically, since my mother didn't feel like driving us anywhere, and she's the only one who can drive. Maybe I should re-learn...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I love hearing about your progress, FWIW. And sarameg's house, and Kat's yoga and tommy's cars, and so on. I know I've been a little on the "My New Job Loves Carrots" train of recent weeks but seriously the excitement of getting paid for something I actually trained for and like still hasn't worn off. Not to mention the "getting paid" part of it, too.

Also, should mention: you've lost a virtual me of weight. Imagine you were carrying me on your back... no wonder the garbage was hard to manage.

Oh yeah, Kathy -- I can't imagine anything better than "cluttering" Natter up with good news and progress!

This is terrific. I'm glad you're in a good place with your work.

Kathy, go you with the progress!

Speaking of progress, some of us were talking about sort of a virtual couch-to-5k thing. Was that in Natter? Are some people still interested? Jogging's one of the few exercises I enjoy kinda-like tolerate maintain, and it would be fun to check in with fellow running Buffistae.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I love hearing about everything, too, even though I don't "talk" as much anymore.

I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with the internet guy (Clearwire) to get my signal back, but now I have my device perched on my bookcase, and I knock it off every time I get up. It is driving me batshit.

also, I last night I spilled an entire bottle- the large one- of red wine on my bed. Oxyclean has been a miracle cleaner, but now I have to deal with the memory foam mattress pad. I am not even sure if it can be cleaned, and if it can be, where I would dry it. If I didn't live in the upper, with my neighbors and her grandkids all over the lawn, I would drag it outside and hose it off, but I am not sure I want to explain how I got the giant red stain on my bed! I guess I should be glad I use my bed as the sofa, because the sofa would be a lot harder to clean!
