Did I tell you guys about the Yankee Swap I participated in yesterday? At one point, I had a Christmas Story action figure -- the dad and the Major Award. It was hilarious, and people were hilarious about it. Someone asked what I had, from across the room, and I just held it up and said, "It says 'fra-gee-lay." Good times.
Goodbye and Good Riddance 2010: Don't Let the Door Hit Ya...
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2010? We have a few words for you.
(I have no idea what you're talking about)

The movie A Christmas Story??
There's a movie called that?
Seriously, I hadn't quite registered that. I think my brain never saw the capitals.
I think the clip probably works better with context. But leg lamp references do make a little more sense to me now.
My sister-in-law got my brother leg-lamp pajamas this year. The shirt says "It's a major award." I wish I was going to be here when he opens them. Last year I got him a Red Ryder BB gun.
"You'll shoot your eye out, kid." Good times.
I love the whole fragile-ay scene!
