Goodbye and Good Riddance 2010: Don't Let the Door Hit Ya...

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2010? We have a few words for you.

hip deep in pie

I have also been sucked in the Etsy hole.

Need to do work, so I can then decorate my work tree.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Tom's mug is, indeed, adorable (but isn't that always the case?). Do make sure you keep it separate from the real thing ... although it might be entertaining to pour coffee into it in front of someone who takes cameras seriously.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it might be entertaining to pour coffee into it in front of someone who takes cameras seriously.

I am freaking out about it remotely. OMG.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love that in one of the photos of the mug is a tablecloth that looks just like the wallpaper in my parents' kitchen.

Calli, those earrings are FANTASTIC. Love sea glass!

Hello! I'm random today.

I am thinking about my year end wrap up. And as stressful and hard as this year has been, the one thing I keep coming back to is Grace. She's been home for over 6 months and, dear god, we are thrilled.

I'll have more to say when I can gather my thoughts. But she is it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay, it wasn't a Christmas prezzie, since I am not doing the exchange, but I figured there would be other squee here, so I could squee. Sox gave me one of her super beautiful crazy awesome knitting needle roll up holders! It is so great! It is beautifully done and the fabric is gorgeous and I am so happy to have it and my needles are too! Will update with pics. [link] and [link]

It actually came before my trip, but I didn't have time to grab it from the post office, so I only just now got it and I am so thrilled with it! Whoo!

Thank you, Sox!

Toddson, thank you SO MUCH for the vampire paper doll book! I think it's all sorts of fun.
