Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, there's a transforming plush coelacanth, but I don't like it.

Flipping the toy inside-out allows a child to discover the evolved form of the creature

Haven't found any better, non-transforming coelacanths. But now I want to call up a toy store and ask if they have any non-transforming coelacanths, just to confuse them.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I hope they can take care of the liver probs quickly and painlessly, ita.

I'm at my yearly non-profit geek conference. 11 am the first morning and already the network is swamped. Thank goodness for my phone.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

A friend of mine has a T-Shirt with the slogan: "See La Canth. See La Canth Run!"

I'm off to another Fun shift of training -- I may be able to run the cashiering machine thingie if they let me. Otherwise it's remembering to put the eggs on top of the bag....

I like this one: Coelacanth #18: Pride Coelacanth

But I'm not sure what message a Pride Coelacanth would send. Different from a message of Coelacanth Pride, methinks.

information libertarian

So, what do we think of the New York Times' new pricing plan? $15 a month for full access; you get 20 articles free and following links from Facebook, twitter, etc. to articles is free. How soon until there is a dedicated Facebook page with links to all articles?

I'd have signed up for $5 a month. If I lived alone I'd probably cancel cable and give them $15, but as it stands I am not sure.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm glad to hear you have a diagnosis ita, but I dislike the "nothing to be done about it" part. Take care of yourself.

Love the coelacanth pics. They are such neat creatures.

Well, there's a transforming plush coelacanth, but I don't like it.

My son has one of those. He likes it. I'm not sure how well it teaches the concept of evolution, however.

Our wings are not tired.

Too expensive, flea.

What Is It? game 169

Can anyone figure out what this is? I immediately knew.

If you can't figure it out, consider how I grew up....
